MARCH 10, 2015: A new title has been added to Goodspeed Musicals' 2015 main stage season. A Wonderful Life, adapted from the beloved Frank Capra film “It's A Wonderful Life,” will begin this fall. Featuring book and lyrics by Tony, Grammy and Pulitzer Prize winner Sheldon Harnick and music by Grammy and Emmy Award winner Joe Raposo, this musical is sure to captivate theater-goers. A Wonderful Life will replace the previously announced production of The Honeymooners. This past November, Goodspeed presented a workshop of the show in New York where the authors and creative team were able to work on and see the show fully staged for the first time. Since then, Goodspeed has been told that the show is ready for Broadway.

The concert will feature three of the performers who worked with Hamlisch and knew him well. Broadway legends Donna McKechnie, Jodi Benson, Doug LaBrecque, along with POPS conductor Topilow, will share behind-the-scenes experiences and personal conversations they had with Marvin.
