The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director; Evans Haile, Executive Director), dedicated to the development of new musicals and rediscovery of musical gems from the past, as part of its 50th Anniversary season celebration, will present two added special events during the month of March: York Chat: Musicals in Mufti: 118 and Counting, the second in a series of panel discussions, _An Evening with Sheldon Harnick and Friends_ a special concert featuring Sheldon Harnick, Liz Callaway, and Karen Ziemba. Both special events will take place at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).

Influential Punk Band Lagwagon Announce Brand New Album

Fat Wreck Chords and longstanding California punk band Lagwagon are excited to announceRAILER, the band's ninth full-length album due out on Friday, October 4 (pre-order). As frontman Joey Cape explains, 'railer' is “a funny word from childhood that means 'silly bad', like lame” and it captures the sense of throwback that flows through the new album's 12 songs. That idea of looking to the past was inspired after Cape came up with “Bubble,” RAILER's first single as well as first song he wrote for the album, and he then just took that idea and ran with it.

Ten Foot Pole pushes past 90's melodic punk genre limitations with 'Escalating Quickly', their first all-new song album since 2004. The album is set for release on May 10 with a North American Tour to follow, which runs May 24-July 28 and includes a stop at Punk Rock Bowling on May 27. Cat on a Hot Tin Roof runs July 5 - August 26, 2018, at Drury Lane Theatre, 100 Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace. The press opening is scheduled for Thursday, July 12 at 8:00 p.m.
