2018-2019 Season Announced At Seattle Children's Theatre

Boston Court Performing Arts Center presents Joanna Wallfisch: A Musical Portrait on Saturday, February 10 at 8:00pm. This concert will explore two extraordinary musical journeys. Her multimedia musical memoir, The Great Song Cycle Song Cycle is paired with her latest release, Blood and Bone for an intimate concert with the genre-blending singer and composer that the New York Times calls, "Introspective, sensitive and deep."

Every superhero has an origin story.  Twelve-year-old Cassius Clay's story begins in segregated Louisville, KY, when his bike gets stolen and he meets a police officer who teaches him how to box.  Step into the ring with Cassius as he becomes one of the world's greatest boxers and civil rights advocates, Muhammad Ali.

Shattered Globe Theatre concludes its 25th anniversary season with the gripping, racially charged mystery IN THE HEAT OF THE NIGHT, adapted by Matt Pelfrey, based on the novel by John Ball and directed by Louis Contey, playing April 21 - June 5, 2016 at Theater Wit, 1229 W. BWW Reviews: THEY DON'T PAY? WE WON'T PAY! at Ambassador Theater

There is little worse than a play that doesn't understand its purpose. They Don't Pay? We Won't Pay!, written by Dario Fo and produced by Ambassador Theater at the Mead Theatre Lab, cannot decide what it wants to be. Instead, the production vacillates between heavy-handed social commentary and overacted comedy. Despite a few strong performances, the production is weighed down by its cumbersome message and leaves the audience confused instead of inspired.

'AND IN THIS CORNER' to Premiere in Louisville Tomorrow

StageOne Family Theatre, Louisville, KY's professional theatre for young audiences, presents a new look at the life and legacy of Muhammad Ali with the world premiere production of And in This Corner…Cassius Clay, on January 17, 2015, Ali's 73rd birthday. Dubbed "Play it Forward: Champions Night," the evening will feature a gala dinner as well as the play, and a post-show champagne reception honoring the Champ and the new production. The event will be co-hosted by StageOne Family Theatre, The Muhammad Ali Center and The Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts. Performances will continue atThe Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts from January 19th to February 14th.

Miller Theatre Opens Jazz Series with Anat Cohen Tonight

Miller Theatre at Columbia University School of the Arts kicks off the 2013-14 season of its Jazz series with Anat Cohen QUARTET tonight, October 12, 2013, 8:00 p.m. at the Miller Theatre (2960 Broadway at 116th Street). Tickets: $25-$35; Students with valid ID: $15-$21.
