This Holiday offering - a first for the Hangar - runs Friday, December 9th through Friday, December 16th.

It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play is an inventive retelling of the timeless story, and a perfect blend of Christmas cheer and theatrical magic. Audiences will be immersed in the nostalgic charm of the 1940's from the minute they enter the theatre - with ushers in red uniforms, live Foley sound effects and real vintage commercials. The Arcade Theatre will be transformed into a New York City radio studio, and the magic will begin a half hour before curtain time when the theatre will come to life with a pre-show glimpse into the world of the mid-1940's.

A beloved Cygnet holiday tradition is coming to a close with a sixth and final run of the timeless classic It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play based on the Frank Capra film and adapted for the stage by Joe Landry. Artistic Director Sean Murray directs a cast of returning favorites and two exciting newcomers! It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play runs November 30th through December 31st, 2011 at Cygnet Theatre in Old Town State Historic Park. Low-priced previews are November 30th through December 2nd.
