Libra Theater Company has announced its Spring 2012 production of 12th Night by William Shakespeare. Directed by Evan Mueller (Amphibian Productions' Animals Out of Paper - "Best Of", Fort Worth Weekly), 12th Night features a talented ensemble cast including Drama Desk nominee Jeremy Morse (Bloodsong of Love, Ars Nova) as well as original songs and music direction by Jeff Raab. The show runs tonight, May 1 through May 12, 2012.

Barrington Stage Company (BSC), under the leadership of Julianne Boyd, Artistic Director, and Tristan Wilson, Managing Director, has purchased the Pittsfield V.F.W. at 36 Linden Street thanks to a generous gift from long-time BSC supporters Sydelle and Lee Blatt. Built in 1972 as Local V.F.W. Post 448, the 40-year-old building, which BSC has been leasing as Stage 2 since 2008, will now serve as its permanent home for new plays and musicals and an all-new cabaret space.

Now in its third year, this Earth Day concert at Joe's Pub has previously featured some of the most talented performers on Broadway, including Anthony Rapp, Ann Harada, Andy Karl, Mario Cantone, and composer Jason Robert Brown. The concert is directed by Jennifer Ashley Tepper, with music direction by Julie McBride.

The concert will be directed by Jennifer Ashley Tepper with musical direction by Julie McBride.

54 BELOW, the nightclub and restaurant announced earlier this year, today confirmed additional bookings at the new space located at 254 West 54th Street. TriArts Sharon Playhouse (Sharon, CT) today announced its 2012 Season. The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas runs June 28 - July 15 and will be directed by John Simpkins, whose recent credits include three time Drama Desk nominated Bloodsong of Love (by Joe Iconis) and Jim Lantz's play The Bus, which ran last fall at 59E59 Theatres. MK Lawson returns as choreographer, after doing the same for TriArts' productions of Rent and The Wedding Singer. Music Direction is by Rob Rokicki (Hairspray at the Engeman).
