Lifeline Theatre's KidSeries presents a world premiere musical adaptation of Arnie The Doughnut, based on the popular children's book by Laurie Keller

Infamous Commonwealth Theatre (ICT) opens the second production of their 2011 season dedicated to the topic Sacrifice with Lanford Wilson's Fifth of July directed by Edward Morgan.

Pine Box Theatre returns from a three-year hiatus with the world premiere of A GIRL WITH SUN IN HER EYES by Chicago writer Joshua Rollins, directed by Matt Miller and featuring Pine Box Company members Audrey Francis & Vince Teninty, acclaimed Chicago actress Karen Aldridge, newcomers Sean Parris & Lucy Sandy and Steppenwolf ensemble member James Vincent Meredith.

Mary-Arrchie Theatre Co. is excited to present for its' second show of their 25th season,The Homecoming by Harold Pinter at Angel Island, 735 W. Sheridan. It will close Sunday, April 10.

Seanachaí Theatre Company presents the Midwest premiere of That Was Then by Gerard Stembridge, February 26th - April 3rd, 2011 in the 3rd Floor theatre at the Irish American Heritage Center. Ensemble member Carolyn Klein directs fellow members Anne Sunseri and Sarah Wellington, with Ira Amyx, Molly Glynn and Joseph Wycoff rounding out the cast. Ensemble member Erin Diener is stage manager.

Seanachaí Theatre Company is currently presenting its Jeff Recommended production of That Was Then by Gerard Stembridge in the 3rd Floor theatre at the Irish American Heritage Center. There will be a performance on the evening of St. Patrick's Day, Thursday March 17th, at 7.30pm.

There will be no performance on Thursday, November 25th. There will be previews on Wednesday & Thursday March 2nd and 3rd at 8 p.m. Tickets for previews are $5. We will close on Sunday, April 10th, 2011 at 7 p.m. There is parking available in the Mobil Gas Station across from the theater at a fee determined by Mobil Gas. A Red Orchid Theatre Artistic Director Kirsten Fitzgerald announces the extension of Mike Leigh's Abigail's Party, directed by Shade Murray and featuring A Red Orchid Ensemble Members Kirsten Fitzgerald, Danny McCarthy, Mierka Girten and Larry Grimm, with Natalie West. The hit production now runs through April 25, 2010, at A Red Orchid Theatre, 1531 N. Wells.
