Eclipse Theatre Announces 9th Annual Corona Award; Ceremony On 1/22/18

Eclipse Theatre Company announces the recipient of 2018's Ninth Annual Corona Award: Ron OJ Parson, Court Theatre Director and Resident Artist. The Corona Award honors individuals who play support and nurture the growth of the Chicago theatre community at-large as well as small- to medium-sized theatres like Eclipse Theatre. The evening will be hosted by Eclipse ensemble member and Goodman Theatre artist emeritus Steve Scott, with other guest presenters to be announced.

Court Theatre Extends Smash-Hit FIVE GUYS NAMED MOE

Court Theatre, under the continuing leadership of Charles Newell, Marilyn F. Vitale Artistic Director, and Stephen J. Albert, Executive Director, announces the extension of Five Guys Named Moe by Clarke Peters, directed by Resident Artist Ron OJ Parson, Music Director Abdul Hamid Royal and Associate Director Felicia P. Fields. Five Guys Named Moe, which features Louis Jordan's greatest hits, now runs through October 15, 2017 at Court Theatre, 5535 S. Court Theatre, under the continuing leadership of Charles Newell, Marilyn F. Vitale Artistic Director, and Stephen J. Albert, Executive Director, opens its 2017-2018 season with Five Guys Named Moe by Clarke Peters, directed by Resident Artist Ron OJ Parson, Music Director Abdul Hamid Royal and Associate Director Felicia P. George Street Playhouse's Interim Venue Gets Ready for 2017-18 Season

Work continues at George Street Playhouse's interim venue at 103 College Farm Road in New Brunswick, N.J., as the theatre prepares to open its 2017-18 mainstage season with an updated version of the off-Broadway hit musical, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, in October.

Updated 'I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT', ACT OF GOD and More Set for George Street in 2017-18 at Interim Venue

George Street Playhouse announced today it will present its 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons at 103 College Farm Road, just off of Route 1 in New Brunswick -- 2 miles from its current home on Livingston Avenue.  Formerly known as the Agricultural Museum of New Jersey, and now owned by Rutgers University, the site will serve as the interim location of the Playhouse for two years as its future home -- the recently announced state-of-the-art performing arts center -- is built on Livingston Avenue.

RED HOT PATRIOT to Open Cape May Stage's 2015 Season

Georgette Timoney, the veteran New Jersey actress, will bring to life firebrand columnist and satirist Molly Ivins, the late Texas journalist and best-selling author, in the New Jersey premiere of Red Hot Patriot: The Kick-Ass Wit of Molly Ivins. The play opens on May 21 at the Robert Shackleton Playhouse, a restored 1853 landmark theater, in Cape May.
