Florida Rep Announces its High Flying 12th Season
Florida Repertory Theatre is pleased to announce its High Flying 12th season, opening Oct. 27 with one of Broadway's hottest comedies, the 2008 Tony-winner Boeing-Boeing.
To begin the 2009-10 Mainstage Season in October, the Theatre and Interpretation Center (TIC) at Northwestern University welcomes Tony Award-winning director Frank Galati with his production of the classic farce-comedy ?Arsenic and Old Lace,? featuring guest artists Dennis Zacek and John Mohrlein and award-winning Northwestern acting faculty Cindy Gold and Mary Poole as the sinister, but hilarious sisters.
Florida Repertory Theatre announces general auditions for Equity Performers and Local Professionals for roles in its 12th season. Auditions will be held at the Arcade Theatre on Monday, May 11 (2pm-7pm) and Tuesday, May 12 (10am-3pm).
Center Repertory Company?s Artistic Director Michael Butler unveiled the company's 43rd subscription season. Richard Kind ('The Tale of the Allergist's Wife' on Broadway) and Michelle Pawk (Tony winner, 'Hollywood Arms') will head the cast of Jeffrey Sweet's play Flyovers, set to receive its New York premiere Off-Broadway beginning previews January 29, 2009 prior to its official press opening night February 2 at the 78th Street Theatre Lab (236 West 78th Street) in Manhattan. Directed by Sandy Shinner, Flyovers is presented in New York by Artistic New Directions, Jeff Landsman and 78th Street Theatre Lab, where Mr. Sweet's acclaimed play Bluff was produced in 2006.
