2009 Drama Desk Award Winning, TADA! Youth Ensemble (Janine Nina Trevens, Founder/ Executive and Artistic Director; Amy Fiore, Managing Director; Joanna Greer Associate Artistic Director) celebrates 25 years of original family entertainment and is happy and proud to welcome back two of its original cast members.

The 54th Annual Drama Desk Awards were held, Sunday, May 17, 2009 in the LaGuardia Concert Hall at Lincoln Center. Drama Desk nominees received their official Nomination Certificates at a cocktail reception on Friday, May 1st at Il Bastardo restaurant, 191 Seventh Avenue (between 21st and 22nd Streets).

For the first time in TADA!'s history, this production has been conceived and written by members of the Resident Youth Ensemble, who were given the opportunity to choose the songs in the show based on submissions from professional composer/lyricists, and develop a plot line for the piece. Through the rehearsal process dialogue will be written into the show about two Family Reunions and a young family member who leaves her own clan to find one that she thinks better suits her. The piece uses song and dance to illustrate how quirky, fun, endearing and irreplaceable our families can be. Music and Lyrics by various composers; Direction by Janine Nina Trevens; Choreography by Joanna Greer; Musical Direction by Jim Colleran.

The Group Theatre Too announces choreographers for it's 2009 Choreographer's Canvas, sponsored by the Broadway Dance Center, Capezio and The Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers. The show will open in Friday, January 9 and run through February 15 at TADA! Theater is located at 15 West 28th Street. The Gift of Musical, a new musical, will run off-off-Broadway from January 20th through February 20th
