TADA! Youth Theater, one of the city's best known children's musical theaters, will celebrate their 23rd season with a family musical and theater/dance piece. The theater will perform Adventures From Ezra Keats: Maggie and the Pirate & Apt 3.  

Performances will begin on Friday, January 12 and continue through February 11, 2007 at the TADA! Theater (15 West 28th Street, 2nd floor).  The production will feature members of TADA!'s Resident Youth Ensemble ages 8-18.

Based on the children's books by award-winning author/illustrator Ezra Jack Keats,  Maggie and the Pirate  has book and lyrics by Winnie Holzman and music by David Evans, will be directed by Janine Nina Trevens, and choreographed by Joanna Greer with musical direction by Jim Colleran. It tells the story of a girl who enlists her friends help to search for her missing cricket that was stolen by a pirate. Apt 3 is written by Davidson Lloyd and directed and choreographed by Joanna Greer.  Apt 3 tells the tale of two boys who explore their apartment building to find out where the wonderful mystery music is coming from.

The talented cast includes actors ranging in age from 9 to 17.  Shows will be on Saturday and Sunday at 2pm and 4pm, with two added shows on Monday January 15 at 12pm and 2pm.  Tickets cost $18 for adults and $8 for children. For reservations visit www.tadatheater.com or (212) 252-1619 ext. 28.
