Pulitzer Prize-Winning Play DISGRACED Opens Tonight on Broadway

The Pulitzer Prize winning play Disgraced by Ayad Akhtar will have its Broadway premiere tonight, October 23, 2014, starring Hari Dhillon (star of the acclaimed London's Bush Theatre production), Gretchen Mol ('Boardwalk Empire'), Karen Pittman (Domesticated) and Josh Radnor ('How I Met Your Mother'). In addition to the Pulitzer Prize, Disgraced has received Obie and Joseph Jefferson Awards. Kimberly Senior, who helmed the two previous US productions, directs.

Well, AMAZING GRACE is that show, and this expensive-looking, high-aiming show that's been in development since 2007, with book, music and lyrics by Christopher Smith (the book is co-written with the veteran playwright Arthur Giron) opened on Sunday night. So far, so good!
