Meyer Rossabi is earning the reputation as one of the finest blues guitarists in the U.S.A. His debut CD, Blues Is The Color, is still receiving airplay on FM radio across the country. Adam Shankman's ROCK OF AGES, which opened last weekend, brought in an additional $8 million in its second weekend, according to Boxofficemojo. As Broadwayworld previously reported, the musical earned $14.4 million in its opening weekend, and a total of $28,763,000. The movie took fifth place (behind Brave, Madagascar 3, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and Prometheus), having the sixth-highest opening ever for a musical.
