Vineyard Theatre Partners with Developing Artists for Arts-in-Education Program

Vineyard Theatre's Artistic Directors, Douglas Aibel and Sarah Stern, are excited to announce a partnership with Developing Artists, a non-profit arts education organization led by Artistic Director Jill DeArmon and Executive Director Jinn S. Kim. The two organizations have partnered to expand the education initiatives of both companies and co-present Developing Artists' REBEL VERSES Youth Arts Festival, July 27-August 5, 2017 at Vineyard Theatre 108 E. 15 St. in New York City.

Stable Cable Lab Co. to Host 2nd Annual LIVEWIRE, 1/25; Lineup, Casts Set

Stable Cable Lab Co. has announced the cast and plays for the second annual LiveWire: An Evening of New Short Plays at the Laurie Beechman Theatre, 407 West 42nd Street, NYC on Sunday, January 25. Doors will open at 5:30pm for food and drinks and the performance will begin at 7pm. The evening will feature five world premieres of ten-minute plays by Nat Cassidy, Breanna Foister, Stephen Gracia, Collin McConnell, and Christopher Gabriel Nuñez, and will take you from the 1960s through the 2000s, with live music by YouTube sensation, Taylor Fererra. Dressing up in attire from your favorite decade is encouraged (but not required) and tickets can be purchased for $15 at www.livewire2014.brownpapertickets.com, with a $20 food and drink minimum.

Columbia Stages' PRIVATE POLICY Begins 4/26

Alessandra Most's PRIVATE POLICY a circus in two acts will receive its world premiere at the Pershing Square Signature Center in the Studio Theatre April 26 - 29. The work will be presented as part of the Columbia University School of the Arts New Plays Now Festival. Jill Harrison will direct the production. This play is mentored by Marsha Norman.
