92Y announces award-winner Gavin Creel for the annual Kathryn W. Stein Memorial Concert, on Monday, June 17 at 2 pm. Creel will pay homage to the American musical songbook and recreate memorable songs from his distinguished Broadway career, including his Tony and Drama Desk Award-winning role in Hello, Dolly!, performing with Bette Midler and Bernadette Peters, Waitress, Thoroughly Modern Millie (Tony nomination), La Cage Aux Folles, Hair (Tony nomination), The Book of Mormon and She Loves Me. Creel also garnered an Olivier Award for his performance in The Book of Mormon in London.

The Recording Academy and Clive Davis will present the annual Pre-GRAMMY® Gala on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019, at The Beverly Hilton, the evening preceding the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards®. As part of the celebration, Clarence Avant will be recognized as the 2019 GRAMMY Salute To Industry Icons® honoree for his groundbreaking contributions to the music industry.

A pair of Broadway besties will share the stage in 2019! Barry and Fran Weissler and Norton and Elayne Herrick announced today that the hit show's composer and lyricist, the multi-platinum-selling Grammy and twice Tony-nominated singer-songwriter and New York Times best-selling author Sara Bareilles, will return to Waitress in the role of Jenna, joined by Tony Award-winner, Gavin Creel as Dr. Pomatter for a limited engagement January 7 to February 3, 2019.

Moonlight Presents offers two holiday events in December at the Moonlight Amphitheatre. 1st Annual California Jazz & Blues Museum Hall of Fame Inductee Ceremony Fundraiser and Barbara Morrison's Birthday Celebration Concert, a fundraiser for the Museum to develop their digital arts program, to introduce basic coding, Android development, organizational structures, basic computer competencies and create an interactive section in the Museum which will give visitors an open source digital portal to the vast historical collection of Jazz & Blues available at the Museum and throughout Los Angeles.  The museum's goal is to raise $25,000.00.  The purpose of the Inductee Ceremony is to recognize local, national and international Jazz & Blues legends for their contributions to the music industry.
