ABC News' “Nightline” drew 1.629 million Total Viewers, 653,000 Adults 25-54 and 478,000 Adults 18-49 for the week of March 31, 2014, according to Nielsen Media Research. “Nightline” ranked No. 1 for the week in Total Viewers, outdelivering NBC's “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” (1.627 million) for the first time and CBS' “Late Show with Craig Ferguson” (1.420 million).

Today CBS announced that Stephen Colbert would be the new host of The Late Show when David Letterman steps down in 2015. This news leaves Comedy Central with a late-night problem. The Colbert Report has followed The Daily Show with John Stewart for almost a decade now.

It was the top “SVU” since Feb. 26 (2.0 in 18-49, 7.782 million viewers overall) in 18-49 and total viewers and equals the highest-rated “SVU” in 18-49 since Jan. 8 (2.1). L+7 Time-Shifting: The March 19 “Law & Order: SVU” increased in 18-49 by 71% in L+7 (2.63 vs. 1.54).
