MEAN GIRLS, ALADDIN, and More Set For 2019-2020 Fairwinds Broadway In Orlando Season

Blockbuster Disney's Aladdin and record-breaking new musical comedy Mean Girls will make their Orlando premieres as part of the 2019-2020 FAIRWINDS Broadway in Orlando series at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. The season also includes audience favorites Escape to Margaritaville: The Jimmy Buffett Musical, A Bronx Tale and The Play That Goes Wrong, along with Tony Award-nominated revivals Miss Saigon and Lerner and Loewe's My Fair Lady. The season will also feature the return of the musical phenomenon Les Miserables, for one week only.

The Hollywood Pantages, a Nederlander Theatre, has announced the BROADWAY IN HOLLYWOOD 2019-20 Season, consisting of eight Los Angeles premieres, all direct from Broadway. This season will mark the first time Los Angeles Theatre audiences will have regular access to Broadway National Tours at both the Pantages and Dolby Theatres in Hollywood. 8 great shows, 2 iconic theatres, one blockbuster season.

Fireside Sessions With Nancy Atlas Return Every Saturday In January At Bay Street Theater

Bay Street Theater and Dan's Papers are pleased to announce the rekindling of the popular Fireside Sessions with Nancy Atlas returning Saturdays at 8 pm in January. Rock out with Nancy Atlas and The Nancy Atlas Project and enjoy some of the hottest music on the East End. Nancy sets the theater ablaze with her band and some massively talented special guests. Tickets are $35, now available online at www.baystreet.org or by calling the Bay Street Theater Box Office at 631-725-9500, open Tuesday through Saturday 11 am to 5 pm. Tickets sell out each year.  The concerts are also sponsored in part by Blue Moon, Coors Light, Behind the Hedges, South Fork Peak Savers, and Audi Southampton.

The Country Music Association to Honor Louis Messina with CMA Touring Lifetime Achievement Award

The Country Music Association will honor the Messina Touring Group's CEO Louis Messina with this year's CMA Touring Lifetime Achievement Award. Messina received the news personally from Country legend George Strait, who made a surprise phone call last Friday morning. Final voting for the CMA Touring Awards, which highlight vital behind-the-scenes members of the touring industry, closes Thursday, Dec. 13. The CMA Touring Awards will take place Monday, Jan. 28 at Nashville's Marathon Music Works. Jerrod Niemann will return to host the ceremony.

Guitarist and singer-songwriter Peter Mayer, of Jimmy Buffett's Coral Reefer Band and The Peter Mayer Group, has released his first illustrated book for all ages, entitled A Junkman's Christmas Eve. The tale of Ernie the Junkman's journey to Christmas is a story rooted in Mayer's childhood and is brought to life with vibrant illustrations by artist and illustrator Phyllis London. Her work hangs in private, public and corporate collections across the country and she is a Signature Artist Member of the Noyes Museum of Art.

Pride also received a 'Walk of Fame' star as part of the ceremony.
