Opry City Stage, New York City's new home for authentic Southern food and daily live country music in the heart of Times Square, is partnering up with Broadway's new musical ESCAPE TO MARGARITAVILLE to host "Island Fridays," the show's official after-party.

Parrotheads across the U.S., man your blenders! The producer of Jimmy Buffett's big Broadway musical ESCAPE TO MARGARITAVILLE announced on Twitter tonight that the tropical tuner will be heading out on a national tour, set to kick off October 2019 at the Providence Center in Rhode Island. According to the Tweet more cities are set to be announced in the coming months!

Phish, the American rock band known worldwide for its dedicated fan base, recently announced a 14-date Fall tour which will conclude in Las Vegas with four performances at the MGM Grand Garden Arena October 31 to November 3. All four shows are scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.

Heralded costume designer Paul Tazewell told the Class of 2018 at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) to embrace their role as pioneers. Tazewell, a 1986 graduate of the School of Design and Production who won a Tony Award in 2016 for the costumes he designed for the Broadway smash 'Hamilton,' spoke May 5 to the largest graduating class in the history of UNCSA.

From stage to screen, Broadway will be represented on TV for the week of May 14, 2018!

Costume designer Paul Tazewell, winner of a Tony Award and an Emmy Award, is Commencement Speaker at his alma mater, the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, at 10 a.m. on Saturday. The ceremony will take place at UNCSA's Stevens Center Stevens Center at 405 West Fourth St. in downtown Winston-Salem. It will be streamed live on the school's website.

Southwestern Yacht Club (SWYC) presents its 48th annual Benefit on the Bay with three events on May 5, June 16 and 17, 2018. The events are open to the public, giving San Diego anglers and sailors the chance to experience the club while also benefiting ElderHelp of San Diego. To date, more than $750,000 has been raised by SWYC and its sponsors through these annual events, ensuring that San Diego seniors can remain independent and live with dignity in their own homes.  

Dick Clark Productions and NBC announced today that the '2018 Billboard Music Awards' will broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 20 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on NBC.

The Web Marketing Association is looking for the best radio websites and the best television websites as part of their 22nd annual international WebAward Competition for Web site development. The WebAwards is the standards-defining competition that sets benchmarks for 96 industries, including radio web sites, based on the seven criteria of a successful Web site. The deadline for broadcast web sites to enter to be judged is May 31, 2018. 'The radio and television industries has become to rely on their websites for an important stream of advertising revenue,' said William Rice, President of the Web Marketing Association. 'Their websites should provide a resource for their target audience. Having that aspect of your broadcast website reviewed is just one benefit of participating in the annual WebAward program. Being able to say you have an award-winning website can't hurt either.' Web sites are judged on seven criteria including design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copy writing and ease of use. Each WebAward entry in the advertising category is judged against other advertising entries in its industry category and then against an overall standard of excellence. The NCAA and Turner Live Events, alongside official NCAA Corporate Champions AT&T, Coca-Cola, and Capital One have announced additional artists for the 2018 NCAA March Madness Music Festival. The free, three-day live music celebration, set to take place March 30 – April 1, is open to the public at Hemisfair in San Antonio.
