Raue Center For The Arts is pleased to announce a sneak peek of their 2016-2017 Season through May of 2017. Highlights include national acts like Jim Peterik as part of the 5th Annual National Piano Conference at Raue Center (6/25), Michael W. Smith (9/20), Louie Anderson (7/29) and David Sedaris (10/26).

The Chicago Public Library Foundation and the Chicago Public Library presented the 16th annual Carl Sandburg Literary Award to legendary composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim. Universally heralded for his immense contributions to musical theater in a career spanning more than 50 years, Sondheim was at the Carl Sandburg Literary Awards Dinner tonight, October 21, 2015 at The Forum (725 W. Roosevelt Road) on the campus of the University of Illinois at Chicago. The performance will be immediately followed by a Gala Celebration Dinner at the Palmer House Hilton (17 E Monroe) to cap off the extraordinary night.
