S.U.C.K. (Stand Up Comedy Klub), returns to The Mockingbird Bar in the East Village with a performance on Friday, November 17 at 8:00 pm.

The popular stand-up comedy show, S.U.C.K. (Stand Up Comedy Klub), returns to The Mockingbird Bar in the East Village on Saturday, October 21 at 8:00 pm. The monthly show has been playing to packed houses for the past year and features comics from Gotham Comedy Club, Funny or Die, UCB, The Wild Project, Del Close Marathon, NY Sketchfest, and Joe's Pub.

La MaMa's wildly popular family series LA MAMA KIDS returns this season with a line-up of Family Friendly productions and workshops from artists.

The popular stand-up comedy show, S.U.C.K. (Stand Up Comedy Klub), returns to The Mockingbird Bar in the East Village with performances on September 22, October 21, and November 17.

Jane Johnson for the Stay at Home Shopper, a musical comedy, opens next week at The Wild Project. The limited run plays three shows, Thursday, August 31 - Saturday, September 2 at 8:00 pm at The Wild Project in the East Village.

Artists Rep and PICA's Time-Based Art (TBA) Festival 2017 partner to co-present They, Themself and Schmerm, written and performed by New  York's Becca Blackwell, directed and developed by Ellie Heyman in collaboration with Jill Pangallo and Jess Barbagallo. This one-weekend production, the first of Artists Rep's 2017/18 FRONTIER SERIES bringing new work in performance to Portland, will run for four performances September 8 through September 11, 2017.

The monthly comedy show S.U.C.K. (Stand Up Comedy Klub), returns to the stage on Friday, August 25th at 8:00 pm with August of Wind at The Mockingbird Bar in the East Village.

Part classic standup comedy special, part teen zine vomit confessional, They, Themself and Schmerm is Becca's disturbingly hilarious personal tale of being adopted into a Midwestern religious family, trained to be a girl, molested, and plagued by the question, "How do I become a man and do I even want that?"  You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll question what bathroom to use.

Over 50 productions of local and international artists will visit the stages of La MaMa during the 2017-2018 season. La MaMa's 56th season highlights artists of different generations, gender identities, and cultural backgrounds, who question social mores and confront stereotypes, corruption, bigotry, racism, and xenophobia in their work.

BAD WITH MONEY - Ben Rimalower's new play about spending beyond his means - has extended through December 2014 due to strong ticket sales. Previously scheduled to close on November 6, the show will be performed through December 18.
