Cameron Mackintosh's new version of Les Miserables begins performances tonight, December 18, at the newly renovated Sondheim Theatre in London.

Cameron Mackintosh announced today the new cast of Boublil and Schönberg's LES MISERABLES at the newly restored Sondheim Theatre, when the theatre re-opens on 18 December 2019 following its major renovation.

All alone, high up in an isolated, derelict suburban tower block, avant garde composer Jerome struggles vainly to complete his life's masterwork about love.With the help of a deranged android childminder, he hatches a plan to retrieve his source of artistic inspiration, his beloved daughter Geain, from his hostile andestranged ex-wife.

THE SMASH-hit musical Dirty Dancing comes to The Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury, next month (August).

The Producers of Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story On Stage have announced that Jessie Hart will join the record-breaking tour to star as the idealistic Baby Houseman. Jessie recently graduated from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, and has since played 'Agnes' in the ITV drama Arthur and George and the lead role of 'Gerda' in The Snow Queen (Nuffield Theatre). Jessie will begin performances in Dirty Dancing from 30 April 2015 at the Birmingham Hippodrome.

This Christmas Southampton's Nuffield is producing an enchanting new version of Hans Christian Andersen's classic fairy tale The Snow Queen, featuring new songs, magical staging and a delightfully humorous retelling of this timeless story that will melt your heart. The adaptation is written by acclaimed TV comedy writer, Georgia Pritchett (The Thick of It, Veep, Miranda), with music composed by Dougal Irvine. Sarah Tipple (Dirty Dancing: The Musical, West End and UK Tour), directs the production.
