Playwrights Horizons' world premiere production of ANTILA PNEUMATICA, a new play by Anne Washburn, directed by two-time Obie Award winner Ken Rus Schmoll, begins Friday, March 11 at Playwrights Horizons' Peter Jay Sharp Theater. Opening Night is set for Monday, April 4 with a limited engagement through Sunday, April 24.       Playwrights Horizons has announced casting for ANTLIA PNEUMATICA, the world premiere of a new play by Anne Washburn (Mr. Burns, a post-electric play at PH; 10 Out of 12; Iphigenia at Aulis; The Internationalist), directed by two-time Obie Award winner Ken Rus Schmoll (Iowa at PH, The Internationalist, The Invisible Hand, Red Dog Howls, Middletown, What Once We Felt).  Commissioned by Playwrights Horizons, the play is the fifth production of the theater company's 2015/2016 Season.   

Primary Stages announces casting for Exit Strategy, a New York premiere by Ike Holter (Hit the Wall)and directed by Kip Fagan (Grand Concourse). The limited engagement runs March 30 - May 6, 2016 at Primary Stages at the Cherry Lane Theatre and features Michael Cullen, Aime Donna Kelly, Rey Lucas, Deirdre Madigan, Christina Nieves, Brandon J. Pierce, and Ryan Spahn. Opening night is Tuesday, April 12at 8PM. Exit Strategy is produced in association with Philadelphia Theater Company.

  Peter Friedman, Keilly McQuail, Naian Gonzalez Norvind, Robbie Collier Sublett, Joyce Van Patten and Mare Winningham will be featured in the LCT3/Lincoln Center Theater world premiere of HER REQUIEM, by Greg Pierce, directed by Kate Whoriskey. HER REQUIEM will begin performances Saturday, February 6, open Monday, February 22, and run for six weeks only through Sunday, March 20 at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65 Street).

Philadelphia Theatre Company will present the gripping and timely play Exit Strategy by "Chicagoan of the Year" Ike Holter January 29-February 28.  Directed by Kip Fagan, the production features an ensemble cast with Michael Cullen, Aime Donna Kelly, Rey Lucas, Deidre Madigan, Christina Nieves, Brandon Pierce, and Ray Spahn. Exit Strategy is the first of several new American plays and presentations at PTC in 2016 which also includes an evening of excerpts from Anna Deavere Smith's new work, Notes from the Field: Doing Time in Education, the Philadelphia premiere of Sex With Strangers by Laura Eason, and the East Coast premiere of Hillary and Clinton by Lucas Hnath.

The Flea Theater presents the New York premiere of Jennifer Haley's NEIGHBORHOOD 3: REQUISITION OF DOOM, directed by Joel Schumacher (Batman Forever, The Client, The Lost Boys) and featuring members of The Bats, the Flea's resident acting company. Previews begin November 9, with opening night slated for Monday, November 16. Says Artistic Director Niegel Smith, "Jennifer Haley's insightful play exposes the chasms within a community consumed by violent video games. It's particularly exciting that The Bats will be guided in this production by the singular vision of Joel Schumacher."
