Tony winning actress Tonya Pinkins will direct a production of Bring it On: The Musical beginning next week at Black Spectrum Theater in Queens.

All For One Theater is thrilled to collaborate with Bushwick Starr (207 Starr Street, Brooklyn, NY between Irving and Wyckoff) in presenting The Brobot Johnson Experience, which received rave reviews including a "Critic's Pick" by Ben Brantley of the New York Times.

All For One Theater collaborates with Bushwick Starr (207 Starr Street, Brooklyn, NY between Irving and Wyckoff) in presenting The Brobot Johnson Experience, an Afrofuturism transmedia piece written by and starring award-winning solo performer, actor, and poet, Darian Dauchan, who has appeared on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and abroad. Directed by Andrew Scoville, The Brobot Johnson Experience opens Saturday, February 24th. The show will play a limited engagement through March 17th.

The Bushwick Starr collaborates with All For One Theater in presenting The Brobot Johnson Experience, an Afrofuturism transmedia piece written by and starring award-winning solo performer, actor, and poet, Darian Dauchan, who has appeared on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and abroad. The recently coined 'Afrofuturism' genre is referred to by The New York Times as '...a political and cultural genre that projects black space voyagers, warriors and their heroic like into a fantasy landscape, one that has long been the province of their mostly white counterparts.'

The Bushwick Starr is thrilled to announce our 2017-18 Season of Programming. We kick things off with a new show by Larissa Velez-Jackson (Yackez, Star Crap Method), which will bring Bushwick community seniors into direct artistic collaboration with one of NYC's most exciting dance artists.

Performances will be staged at the Gloria Maddox Theatre, 151 West 26th Street, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001 from February 15-March 5, 2017.
