Hosted by Studio Dante and presented by Architectural Digest, 'First Readings: A Benefit For Studio Dante' will take place Monday, March 31 at the Rubin Museum of Art. The event will premiere two short plays read by Chris Cooper, Drea de Matteo, Anne Meara, Jerry Stiller and Stanley Tucci, introduced by Michael Imperioli. The featured plays are when heaven and earth by Anastasia Traina and Squalor by Gina Gionfriddo. The evening will also feature the presentation of a special award to the legendary Lauren Bacall.

On Monday, February 4 The Vineyard Theatre - where Edward Albee's Pulitzer Prize-winning play Three Tall Women debuted in 1994 - celebrated Albee's 50-year career as one of the world's leading dramatists, as he turns 80 during this theatrical season.
