By popular demand, pianist David Lahm returns to share more songs and stories about his mother, Dorothy Fields, considered by many to be America's leading female lyricist. Cabaret singer Julie Budd joins Lahm for a special guest performance, along with Harvey Granat.
11th Hour Theatre Company is set to heat up June with the World Premiere of the emotional new musical Big Red Sun. This World Premiere musical, which the company helped develop is set to run May 31-June 17. Written by John Jiler & Georgia Stitt this it opens June 4 at 7 p.m. It is directed by 11th Hour co-founder and Resident Director Megan Nicole O'Brien with Music Direction by 11th Hour regular Dan Kazemi. Len Cariou and Liz Robertson, stars of the original Broadway production of Dance A Little Closer, the Charles Strouse and Alan Jay Lerner musical, have joined the cast of its previously announced concert adaptation, on Monday, April 16 at 7 pm at the Green Room 42.
