Way Off Broadway's 20th Anniversary Revue to Run 10/24-11/15

The entire 2014 Season has been a year of celebration for The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre as it marks its 20th Anniversary Season. Since Way Off Broadway first opened it has been one of the region's most established and respected theatre organizations. To this day, it is the Frederick-area's only year-round producing theatre.

Other Voices Theatre to Present 18th Annual Production of THE NEW ADVENTURES OF ALICE IN WONDERLAND, 4/18-19

Local theater group, Other Voices, is in the midst of rehearsals for their annual springtime production of The New Adventures of Alice in Wonderland at The Weinberg Center for the Arts. The cast is a mix of Frederick acting icons, like Julie Herber and Joann Lee (hailing from The MET) reprising their respective Red and White Queen roles. Jeremy Trammelle (Mad Hatter), Shawn Nakia (White Rabbit), and Amanda Patten (The Duchess) are also joining the cast. Other Voices is excited to introduce Miss Charley Bennett in the featured role of Alice.

In Dora's Pirate Adventure, Dora, her best buddy Boots the Monkey, and the rest of their friends embark on an exciting trip to Treasure Island. The audience helps them navigate over Dancing Mountain, through Silly Singing Bridge and to confront the Pirate Piggies. Along the way, the audience will use their map-reading, counting, musical and language skills to successfully help Dora reach the treasure. All ends happily onstage with a 'yo-ho-ho!'

The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre's 2011 Season continues this summer when it brings the smash hit musical comedy Hairspray to the stage.

Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre Announces Family Summer Savings for HAIRSPRAY

With the summer now in full swing and families on the lookout for activities to fill the hot summer evenings, The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre is announcing a 'Family Summer Savings' deal for its current production of the musical Hairspray. For Friday evening and Sunday matinee performances between July 15th and August 25th, with the purchase of 1 Regular Priced Adult ticket, the younger family members get a discount on their ticket prices. Tickets for children 12 and younger will then be $20 (regularly $32) and 13 to 17 year olds will be $25 (regularly $42).

The Way Off Broadway Children's Theatre first opened in 1996 and since then has become a popular entertainment destination for families looking for a fun weekend activity, it has also become a great spot for birthday parties and school trips. With the first show of the 2011 Season, things will be changing in The Children's Theatre. For the first time, a Disney production will come to life on the Way Off Broadway stage when Disney's 101 Dalmatians Kids opens on January 29th kicking off the new season.

Christmas Follies Celebrates the Season at WOB

Without question, the most popular show of the season is The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre's holiday production. More often then not, many of the scheduled performances sell out before the show even opens.
