There are times it's hard to credit that 1776 is even a musical. The Tony Awards and Dress Circle Publishing have announced a special fan experience at the Tony Awards Pop-Up Shop featuring author and musical theater historian Jennifer Ashley Tepper and Broadway favorites Annie Golden (Violet, 'Orange is the New Black'), Brian Yorkey (If/Then, Next to Normal), Caissie Levy (LES MISERABLES, Ghost) and more on Tuesday, May 13th from 5-6.30PM. Erik Shapiro's new sharp-edged comedy, which directed by Jeremy Scott Blaustein, also features Stacie Bono, Max Crumm, Ashton Foster, Aaron Simon Gross, Ari Benjamin Hirsch, Guy Lemonnier, Catherine Russel, Stewart Schneck, and Kevin Spirtas. The reading takes place in midtown today, July 29, at 2pm.
