Due to demand, The New Group has announced a second extension for Sam Shepard's Buried Child, now playing through April 3. Originally set to play through March 13, an extension through Sunday, March 27 was recently announced for this limited Off-Broadway engagement. Directed by Scott Elliott, this production features Taissa Farmiga, Ed Harris,Amy Madigan, Larry Pine, Rich Sommer, Paul Sparks and Nat Wolff. The show just opened last night at The Pershing Square Signature Center (The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre, 480 West 42nd Street) and BroadwayWorld was there. Check out photos below!

The New Group presents Sam Shepard's BURIED CHILD, the third production in its 2015-2016 season. Originally set to play a limited Off-Broadway engagement through March 13, this extended production now plays through Sunday, March 27. The production runs from January 21, 2016 through February 13, 2016 with a January 28, 2016 opening at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater (416 W. 42nd Street, NYC).

The OBIE Award-winning NAATCO, National Asian American Theater Company, continues their 25th season with the World Premiere of Lloyd Suh's Charles Francis Chan, Jr.'s Exotic Oriental Murder Mystery. Ed Sylvanus Iskandar directs a cast that includes Jeff Biehl, Jennifer Ikeda, Peter Kim, Orville Mendoza, KK Moggie and Jeffrey Omura. This Off-Broadway limited engagement at Walker Space (46 Walker Street) opens tonight, November 2nd. Performances continue through November 21st only.

It may be the first musical to have sound effects created by on-stage Foley Artist written into the score.

Due to popular demand, The Flea Theater is extending of the World Premiere of a cautionary tail by christopher oscar peña. a cautionary tail is a play of impossible choices set in a world of magical characters. First generation Chinese-Americans growing up in New York City, Vivienne and Luke confront a confused tangle of family, a diverse array of friends, and their rampant sexuality. In our digital age, how can they navigate the traditional expectations of their mother with their American culture of individuality?

The Flea Theater will present the New York Premiere of WHITE HOT by Tommy Smith (Pigeon, The Wife). It is directed by Courtney Ulrich and stars The Bats. Performances run April 26 - May 26 at The Flea (41 White Street between Church and Broadway in Tribeca).
