The cast and company of Paper Mill Playhouse's premiere of a new Disney stage musical, Newsies, delivered their first performance preview to the press since starting rehearsals three weeks ago. BONNIE & CLYDE will play at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, beginning previews on Friday, November 4th and opening on Thursday, December 1st. New artwork for the Broadway production has been released and BroadwayWorld brings you a first look below!

On Monday August 29th, 2011, Jonathan Reid Gealt and Matt Hinkley team up to bring you an evening of songs to raise money for Broadway Impact. Founded by Rory O'Malley (Book of Mormon), Gavin Creel (Hair), and Jenny Kanelos, Broadway Impact is a grassroots organization of the Theatre community and it's fans, mobilizing in support of marriage equality.

Paper Mill Playhouse (Mark S. Hoebee- Producing Artistic Director, Todd Schmidt-Managing Director) will host a Newsies Fan Day at the Millburn theater on Sunday, October 2nd. Newsies Fan Day is an opportunity for Newsies fans nationwide to celebrate this cult phenomenon. Participants will have the opportunity to attend a Newsies Fan Reception at 5pm in the Renee Foosaner Art Gallery on the campus of Paper Mill Playhouse. At 6:00pm, there will be a Newsies Cast Talk-Back where both the stage cast and members of the film cast will discuss Newsies. The Newsies Fan Package costs $25 and includes: the Newsies Fan Reception, Newsies Cast Talk-Back and a Newsies gift. To participate in Newsies Fan Day, you must hold a ticket to the Newsies fan performance at 7:00pm on Sunday, October 2nd, sold separately. Radio Disney will be on campus to join in the festivities.

BONNIE & CLYDE will play at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street), beginning previews on Friday, November 4th and opening on Thursday, December 1st. BONNIE & CLYDE has direction by Jeff Calhoun, music by Frank Wildhorn, lyrics by Don Black, book by Ivan Menchell and music supervision/orchestrations/arrangements by John McDaniel. According to his official website, Jeremy Jordan will star in the highly anticipated NEWSIES at Paper Mill Playhouse, taking on the role made popular by Christian Bale -Jack Kelly. Jordan wrote on the project 'Folks, I am literally living a childhood fantasy playing the role of Jack Kelly (originated by Christian Bale)... the nine-year-old me would be so proud.'
