Pasadena Playhouse, the State Theatre of California, and Tony-nominated director Sheryl Kaller (Broadway's Next Fall and Off-Broadway's Adrift in Macao) present DANGEROUS BEAUTY, starring Jenny Powers (Broadway's Grease as Rizzo and Little Women as Meg) as Veronica Franco. The world premiere musical features book and verse by Jeannine Dominy (Warner Bros' Dangerous Beauty and Fox's The Ghost and Mrs. Muir), lyrics by Amanda McBroom(Pasadena Playhouse's Heartbeats and 'The Rose'/Bette Midler) and music by Michele Brourman (TV's The Land Before Time andUniversal Studios' The Little Engine that Could) and will be presented in association with Susan Dietz and Tara Smith. The production opens on February 13, 2011, at Pasadena Playhouse (39 South El Molino Avenue).

William Atherton, Matt Cavenaugh, Lisa O'Hare, Carol Lawrence, Millicent Martin and Jason Graae are the acclaimed film, Broadway and West End stars who will lead the cast of Reprise Theatre Company's second production of the 2010-2011 season, 'Gigi', playing February 15 to February 27, 2011 (press opening February 16, 2011) at UCLA's Freud Playhouse. The musical - with book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe -- will be directed by veteran musical theatre director David Lee, with choreography by Peggy Hickey and musical direction by Steve Orich.

Cavenaugh and Powers' 'Gonna Make You Love Me' Releases Track List

Husband and wife team, Matt Cavenaugh and Jenny Powers, have announced the track list to their upcoming debut album, GONNA MAKE YOU LOVE ME, which will be released in March 2011. The ten-track album features covers originally recorded by artists such as Queen, Etta James, Mandy Moore, Joni Mitchell, Sam Cooke, as well as several others. According to Powers and Cavenaugh, 'Over the course of 10 songs, the album follows the journey of two people searching for and finding love in one another.'

He will costar in Reprise's Gigi opening @ The Freud Playhouse at UCLA on February 16. He took time from his hectic schedule of rehearsals to speak briefly about Gigi, his other work and his new CD.

In today's New York Post, columnist Michael Riedel notes that several New York producers have been down to see the show and that 'Superman' will surely have a life beyond Dallas, although some rights issues have to be cleared with DC Comics if it's to return to Broadway.
