What began as a social-media experiment by host, Mandee K. Hammerstein, has now turned into an exciting runaway train!  The "livestream" has attracted over 15,000 organic views within the first 2 weeks of production and a new sponsor (On Demand Programs and Events).  The original idea was to test-out Facebook's live-streaming feature (Facebook Live), to see if we could create a little entertainment for our supporters, while offering an "inside-look" into Oscar's home and demonstrate the power and energy within this museum in the making.  "We figured since fans can't come and experience the museum yet, we'd simply bring a taste of the museum to them, utilizing the very basic technology resources at hand.  People really love this series and look forward to virtually "meeting" the next performer in this very special space - Mandee K. Hammerstein.

Betsy Wolfe (Falsettos, Waitress), Eddie Korbich (A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder, The Drowsy Chaperone) & Sal Viviano (The Full Monty, The Life) have been added to Broadway by the Year at Town Hall on March 26th at 8pm which will also star Olivier Award winner Lesli Margherita who has won fans across the length and breadth of Broadway with her starring roles in Matilda & Dames at Sea, Tony Yazbeck (Tony Award nominee for On the Town), Jenny Lee Stern (Rocky: The Musical & Spamilton), and Mia Gerachis (Jekyll & Hyde).

The Media Theatre's annual benefit March 10, postponed a week due to snow, offered a welcoming atmosphere, pleasant company, and familiar songs performed by Broadway entertainers. This was very fitting, since the event title was "There's No Place Like Home", and home is where the heart is.

After a successful run this past summer, 'Always, Patsy Cline' returns to The Media Theatre March 15 to April 1. Featuring Broadway's Jenny Lee Stern as the legendary country singer, the hit show has performances on Thursdays at 7:30pm, Fridays at 8pm, Saturdays at 8pm, and Sundays at 3pm.

The Media Theatre is hosting a special evening Saturday March 3 entitled "There's No Place Like Home", with a one-night-only concert performance from two Broadway performers: Jenny Lee Stern and Nicholas Saverine. The night includes a reception in the theatre's elegant Crystal Room, a silent auction, and the presentation of the Community Achievement Award to Dr. Raymond J. and Mrs. Teresa J. Vivacqua.
