PAL JOEY Star Plimpton Nabs Role in Showtime Pilot

The Hollywood Reporter stated today that Martha Plimpton, currently starring in the Broadway revival of Pal Joey at Studio 54, will be part of the cast of the new Showtime pilot 'The End of Steve.'

Stockard Channing Featured In 'Eye' Section Of W Magazine

Stockard Channing, star of the Roundabout Theatre Company's Broadway production of Pal Joey, is featured in the 'Eye' section of W Magazine (December Issue). Stockard Channing talks to W writer Diane Solway about her role in this highly anticipated revival that has not been seen on Broadway in over 30 years. An original portrait of Channing is included. Matthew Risch Officially Replaces Hoff in PAL JOEY

Understudy Matthew Risch has taken over the title role of Joey Evans in PAL JOEY for an injured Christian Hoff. Hoff has withdrawn from the Broadway musical due to his injury. Risch in a classic theatrical twist of fate now will head the Roundabout revival. The official press opening night is delaying one week later than originally planned to December 18th to allow for this sudden cast change.

Risch Continues to Cover for Injured Hoff in PAL JOEY

Hoff injured his foot Friday evening and the production cancelled the Saturday Matinee on November 22nd. Risch will continue in the role for tonight's special Monday night performance.

On June 8th, 2008 Paper Mill Playhouse opened its mainstage production of Little Shop of Horrors, a musical written by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman. The musical is based on Roger Corman's 1960 sci-fi comedy and includes several show-stopping numbers including 'Skid Row (Downtown),' 'Somewhere That's Green,' and 'Suddenly Seymour,' as well as the title song. Little Shop of Horrors will run at the Millburn theatre from June 4 through July 6, 2008.

Photo Flash: 'Marcy in the Galaxy' In Rehearsal

Transport Group will present Marcy in the Galaxy, a world premiere musical, with book, music, and lyrics by Nancy Shayne, based on a story by Ms. Shayne and Michael Patrick King, and directed by artistic director Jack Cummings III beginning performances Friday, March 28. The opening has been scheduled for Sunday, April 6 at 3PM.
