This November, after five years of ongoing renovations, the popular Upper West Side performance space the Triad Theater (158 West 72nd Street) will officially re-launch as STAGE 72 as a part of the New York Comedy Festival, which will include performances and appearances by Susie Essman, David Steinberg, Meredith Vieira, two special editions of Celebrity Autobiography featuring Janeane Garofalo, Tony Danza, Mario Cantone, Oscar-nominee Jennifer Tilly, SNL alum Rachel Dratch, and more.

'Monsters, Inc.,' one of Disney-Pixar's most beloved and visually imaginative feature films ever, returns to the big screen to delight a whole new generation of audiences and fans alike, this time in stunning 3D.

Founded in 1979 by its artistic director Jeffrey Horowitz, Theatre for a New Audience is a modern classical theatre that produces Shakespeare alongside other major authors in a dialogue that spans centuries. Its 33rd season, the last before moving to its first home adjacent to BAM in the new Downtown Brooklyn Cultural District, features boldly diverse works from William Shakespeare, Franz Kafka in a theatrical adaptation by Colin Teevan, Samuel Beckett and Wallace Shawn. In a co-production with The Public Theater, Mr. Shawn's plays will be part of The Wallace Shaw-Andre Gregory Project.

The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Patrick Willingham) and Theater for a New Audience (Founding Artistic Director Jeffrey Horowitz; Managing Director Dorothy Ryan and Chairman of the Board, Henry Christensen III) will present THE WALLACE SHAWN-ANDRÉ GREGORY PROJECT in 2013, a celebration of the remarkable 40-year collaboration between Wallace Shawn and Andre Gregory. The two plays, THE DESIGNATED MOURNER and GRASSES OF A THOUSAND COLORS, will offer a long overdue retrospective of Shawn's work as well as an opportunity for him to appear on the New York stage again under Gregory's direction. The Public Theater presented Shawn's first play in New York, Our Late Night, in 1975, directed by Gregory.

It was a storybook night of your favorite fairy tales as more than 200 of New York's sexiest dancers brought BROADWAY BARES XXII: HAPPY ENDINGS to life for two performances (9:30 PM and midnight) on Sunday, June 17. BROADWAY BARES XXII: HAPPY ENDINGS, which is produced by and benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS was held at Roseland Ballroom (239 West 52nd Street, NYC). BroadwayWorld.com was there to capture all the excitement, fun and sexiness backstage!

Roundabout Theatre Company has just announced that Tony® Award winner Douglas Hodge will star in a new Broadway production of Cyrano de Bergerac by Edmond Rostand, with a translation by Ranjit Bolt and directed by Jamie Lloyd. Cyrano de Bergerac will begin previews on September 14, 2012 and open officially on October 11, 2012 at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway (227 West 42nd Street). This will be a limited engagement through November 25, 2012. The full cast & design team will be announced soon.
