Elaine Cassidy will be taking on the role of Madame de Tourvel in the Donmar's production of Les Liaisons Dangereuses, replacing Michelle Dockery who regrettably has had to withdraw from the production prior to the start of rehearsals.

Sunday night, April 12, Donmar Warehouse's CITY OF ANGELS won the Olivier Award for Best Musical Revival. Rebecca Trehearn and Rosalie Craig performed What You Don't Know About Women on the live broadcast.
According to the New York Post, Oscar-winner Jennifer Hudson will soon make her Broadway debut in an upcoming revival of THE COLOR PURPLE. Produced by Oprah Winfrey, who also produced the original 2005 production, this version of the show started at London's Menier Chocolate Factory, directed by John Doyle. Michael Riedel writes that Winfrey called Hudson personally to ask her to play Celie in the musical.
The Daily Mail writes that Donmar's artistic director Josie Rourke is in talks to transfer CITY OF ANGELS to the West End. Negotiations are in the early stages, so no word yet on a timeline or whether the original cast will travel with the show.
Full casting for City of Angels at Donmar Warehouse has been announced. Joining the previously announced Samantha Barks, Rosalie Craig and Hadley Fraser are Katherine Kelly, Tam Mutu, Peter Polycarpou and Rebecca Trehearn.
As Ghost The Musical enters its second year, over 250,000 new tickets go on sale today (28 March 2012) taking bookings at the Piccadilly Theatre to 20 April 2013. Having been seen by over 400,000 people, Ghost The Musical is now also playing on Broadway, with further productions planned for Holland in September 2012, Australia and Germany in 2013 and Korea in 2014.
GHOST THE MUSICAL, now entering its second year in the West End, will be releasing over 250,000 new tickets for sale next month, on March 28, taking bookings at the Piccadilly Theatre to April 20, 2013. The musical has now been seen by over 350,000 people.
