The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust presents the poignant and contemporary choreography of Ronald K. Brown/Evidence on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 8:00pm. This performance will take place at the Byham Theater, located at 101 Sixth Street, downtown Pittsburgh. The presentation is part of the 2014-15 Pittsburgh Dance Council season.

Young Soon Kim and WHITE WAVE DANCE present the World Premiere of Eternal NOW. An ambitious collaboration reuniting Young Soon Kim's fluid and intertwining dramatic movement with longtime collaborator composer Marco Cappelli, who will perform an original score live, as dancers interact with scenes of lusciously composed images and edited footage by video artist, Kate Freer, playing on widescreen monitors.
Joyce Theater to Present U.S. Debut of MalPaso Dance Company, 5/27-6/1

The Joyce Theater will present the U.S. debut of Cuba's MalPaso Dance Company, performing the U.S. premieres of works by Ronald K. Brown and the company's artistic director Osnel Delgado, from May 27 - June 1. This engagement on the stage of The Joyce's landmark Chelsea home marks the first time MalPaso will perform outside of Cuba since the company's 2012 formation. Tickets range in price from $10-$59 ($26-$44 for Joyce Theater members), and can be purchased through JoyceCharge at 212-242-0800 or via the internet at www.joyce.org. The Joyce Theater is located at 175 Eighth Avenue at 19th Street.

Lincoln Center Announces OUT OF DOORS 2014 Summer Festival Lineup; Runs 7/20-8/10

The schedule for this summer's Lincoln Center Out of Doors festival, which runs from July 20 to August 10, was announced today by Bill Bragin, Lincoln Center's Director of Public Programming. Nearly 100 free performances will take place across the plazas of Lincoln Center during three weeks. A special Memorial Concert for Pete and Toshi Seeger on July 20 will be followed by the official opening concert on July 23 with Larry Harlow's Hommy: A Latin Opera, the landmark work's first performance in 40 years.
