The nonprofit Sundance Institute has announced 10 producers selected to participate in the Producers Lab, taking place July 24–28 at Utah's Sundance Mountain Resort, as well as 11 producers for the fall Producers Intensive.

Today the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra announced the next five virtual concerts in its free weekly fall series. The performances will remain available online for 30 days following each premiere to give as many people as possible a chance to enjoy them.

Freedom to ACT, developed by Ann Rodiger and Belinda Mello, is in its 8th year! This year's conference topic is The Actors Audition: Preparation for Success and will focus on how actors use the Alexander Technique to maintain their presence throughout the audition process. Richmond Triangle Players' launches its 24th Season of mainstage works with Atlanta playwright Topher Payne's new comedy PERFECT ARRANGEMENT.  The play opens Thursday, September 29th at 8:00 pm at RTP's theater at 1300 Altamont Avenue in Richmond, after a low-priced preview today, September 28th.  The production runs through October 22, and is sponsored by Barcode.

E.D.G.E. Theatre presents the return of MacSith, now through May 24 at Pendulum Theater Space, 1803 W. Byron Ave. Based on William Shakespeare's Macbeth and set it the Star Wars universe, MacSith is adapted by Orion Couling and Jared McDaris and directed by Couling.
