She's got more magic to do! According to Deadline, Pippin show-stealer Patina Miller has been cast as Commander Paylor in Lionsgate's highly anticipated film THE HUNGER GAMES: Mockingjay Parts 1 & 2. The role marks the film debut for the actress and singer.
Mikhail Baryshnikov serves as the Honorary Chairman for Uptown Downtown, a special one-night-only extravaganza to benefit the Abrons Arts Center on October 14. The Rockettes are gearing up for another awe-inspiring year of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular and before they start rehearsals, two Rockettes will be visiting five dance schools in New Jersey, Long Island, Connecticut and Westchester (see schedule below) to teach master dance classes to groups of aspiring dancers.

Broadway rocker Justin Matthew Sargent, best known for his star turn as 'Drew' in Broadway's Rock of Ages, has landed the coveted role of Peter Parker / Spider-Man role in Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark. Sargent will play evening performances at the Foxwoods Theatre (213 West 42nd Street) beginning tonight, September 16. Reeve Carney, the original lead Peter Parker, played his final performance last night in order to begin shooting for the new Showtime series Penny Dreadful. Rehearsals begin on Monday, September 16 in London for the critically heralded all-male Shakespeare's Globe repertory productions of William Shakespeare's TWELFTH NIGHT and RICHARD III on Broadway this fall. The productions, which delighted audiences and broke all box office records in London's West End earlier this year, will open Sunday, November 10 at the Belasco Theatre (111 West 44th Street), with previews beginning October 15. Twelfth Night and Richard III, which are directed by Tim Carroll, designed by Jenny Tiramani and with music by Claire van Kampen, will play a limited engagement for 16 weeks.
