Theatre Tuscaloosa is having a summer intensive, 'the eXperience 2010,' for students age 12-18 interested in theatre. The week long intensive involves instruction from Theatre Tuscaloosa Executive Producer Tina Turley, and seasoned actors Jeff Wilson and Stacy Searle Panitch, along with other college students.

On June 25th, 2008 SPF held its launch party in celebration of its fifth season. This year the Summer Play Festival will be held at The Public Theater on Lafayette Street in New York City. The festival will run from July 1st - July 27th.
