Ten Bones Theatre Company will present the World Premiere of Pete McElligott's dark comedy In a Little Room, directed by Patrick Vassel at The Wild Project (195 East 3rd Street between Avenue A and Avenue B), tonight, September 9, through September 24 with performances Tuesday through Saturday at 7:30pm and Saturday and Sunday at 2pm.

Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of Andre Bishop) has announced that it will extend the run of J.T. Rogers' OLSO, winner of the 2017 Tony Award for Best Play, through Sunday, July 16 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater.

The American Theatre Wing (Heather Hitchens, President) and The Village Voice (Peter Barbey, Owner) are thrilled to announce the winners of the 62nd Annual Obie Awards®. Jennifer Kidwell & Scott R. Sheppard's Underground Railroad Game, produced by Ars Nova, and J.T. Roger's Oslo, produced by Lincoln Center Theater, shared the Obie Awards for Best New American Theatre Work, which is accompanied by a $500 prize each. Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Paula Vogel received a special Obie Award for Lifetime Achievement. Obie and Screen Actors Guild® Award-winning actress Lea DeLaria returned as host of this year's ceremony, which was held at Webster Hall (125 East 11th Street). Following a widely acclaimed start to its 17th season, South Philadelphia-based Theatre Exile will move to the larger Plays & Players Theatre to present Sam Shepard's modern classic True West. Directed by Exile Associate Artistic Director Matt Pfeiffer, True West features local actors Jeb Kreager and Brian Osborne as brothers Austin and Lee. Performances run January 30 - February 23, 2014.
