The Old Globe's 2011 production of Tracy Letts' drama "August: Osage County" was the leading honoree at the San Diego Theatre Critics Circle's 10th annual Craig Noel Awards ceremony, held Monday at the Museum of Contemporary Art, San Diego, in La Jolla before an audience of more than 450.
More than 100 local and national theatre artists representing more than 40 San Diego theatrical productions at a dozen local theaters will compete for the 2011 Craig Noel Awards on Feb. 6, the San Diego Theatre Critics Circle announced today.

Lamb's Players Theatre has extended its run of the popular musical Godspell. The production, currently playing at the Horton Grand Theatre, will now be performed through November 22. Written by Stephen Schwartz and John-Michael Tebelak, the musical is directed by Lamb's Players' Producing Artistic Director, Robert Smyth.
