On Saturday May 30th 2009 Tony Winner Sara Ramirez star of ' Grey's Anatomy' and 'Spamalot' and Emmy Winner Carson Kressley host of 'Queer Eye for the Straight Guy' and 'How to Look Good Naked' will be hosting the first benefit gala event for the Al D. Rodriguez Liver Foundation. The event will take place at The Brandon Fradd Theatre at Whyte Hall in Fire Island Pines, Long Island, NY starting at 6PM. Ms. Ramirez and Mr. Kressley have united forces to honor their close friend Al D. Rodriguez, an actor, performer, producer, mentor, and creative tour de force with an evening of music and film.

Newcomers to the cast include Gavin Creel, Caissie Levy and Sasha Allen, who join the rest of the tribe, who are reprising their roles from Central Park last summer. HAIR begins preview performances on Friday, March 6 at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street, NYC) with an Opening Night set for Tuesday, March 31, 2009.

For its 25th Anniversary Season, Performance Space 122 has re-vamped its longstanding series New Stuff to create a brand new residency program for emerging artists working in the fields dance, theater and multi-disciplinary performance. Over the course of the year, six of New York's most promising and innovative emerging artists have created new works which will culminate in repertory presentations during The New, New Stuff, April 28-May 15, 2005.
