The Public Theater will begin previews on Tuesday, October 11 for the New York premiere of THE AGONY AND THE ECSTASY OF STEVE JOBS, created and performed by Mike Daisey and directed by Jean-Michele Gregory. Do we as Americans really know where our stuff comes from? Do we know who makes it? That's the central question surrounding Mike Daisey's one man show currently at the Seattle Rep, "The Agony and the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs". And while a very funny and scathing look at corporate greed, at times the performance comes across as a little deliberate and repetitive.

Public Theater Artistic Director Oskar Eustis announced the line-up today for The Public's 2011-2012 Season. The 56th Season will feature new works by Mike Daisey, Nathan Englander, David Henry Hwang, Richard Nelson, and Stew and Heidi Rodewald, as well as the premiere of FEBRUARY HOUSE, a new musical by Gabriel Kahane and Seth Bockley that is the first commission of The Public's Musical Theater Initiative.

Passage Theatre, Trenton's only professional theater company, will present its 10th Annual Solo Flights Festival with six events and two special readings from March 4 through 27. Performances will take place at the Mill Hill Playhouse, located at 205 E. Front Street at the corner of Montgomery Street, in the heart of Trenton's historic Mill Hill district.
