Called 'Hugely entertaining! A ripsnorter full of blistering, funny dialogue, acid-etched characterizations and scenes of no-holds-barred emotional combat' by The New York Times, AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY won a Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize in 2008.

Director Ellen Geer re-sets William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet in East Jerusalem, kicking off the 2016 summer repertory season at Will Geer's Theatricum Botanicum's outdoor amphitheater on June 11.

Now rumors are circulating that British singer Leona Lewis might take on the role instead. A source told the Daily Star that Lewis is Lloyd Webber's first choice to replace Scherzinger.

As previously reported, composer Andrew Lloyd Webber spoke to The Economist Radio this week and revealed that Nicole Scherzinger, who starred as Grizabella in the recent West End revival of Cats, had initially signed on for the upcoming Broadway production but changed her mind just before rehearsals got underway. Now, Scherzinger has responded to Lloyd Webber's 'furious' reaction, bearing no ill will toward the theatre legend.

Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA) announces a summer session of theater programs, ballet intensives and one-week creative camps, along with voice, instrumental and dance classes. The summer session runs from July 5 to August 26, with registration beginning March 7.
