With the second season's September 21 premiere quickly approaching, Fox is kicking GLEE advertising into high gear with its new slushee-based ad campaign. The new poster, which is featured below, uses an icon from season one to empower the New Directions members.
Rumors surrounding the possibility of GLEE representation on Broadway may in fact be true, if GLEE creator Ryan Murphy is to be understood correctly. At the Eat Pray Love premiere in New York City this Week Murphy revealed to the New York Daily News of a GLEE stage adaptation: it is 'definitely' happening. 'I'm auditioning people now.' As for a potential cast: 'I don't know just yet...You'll see.'
GLEE star Mark Salling, who plays Puck on the hit show, will be releasing his new solo album, 'Pipe Dreams,' on October 12 under the banner of his own label, Pipe Dreams Records. The album, reports USMagazine, will have a 'classic rock 'n' roll, alternative music and a '60s folk-beat era sound.' Salling is said to be writing performing and producing each track on the disc. The first single, 'Higher Power,' was released on August 10.

GLEE creator and executive producer Ryan Murphy may be bringing his hit television musical comedy to the Great White Way, according to a report by The New York Times. As GLEE's success continues to grow, Murphy has continued to reach out and tackle new projects. His film adaptation of 'Eat Pray Love' with Julia Roberts hits theatres this month, and his name has recently been attached as a possible director for the upcoming WICKED film adaptation. Sony's co-chairwoman Amy Pascal is quoted as saying, 'I'll do anything Ryan wants.' There is no word on a possible timeline for a Broadway production of GLEE.
