SEAGULLMACHINE runs from April 14 - May 5, 2018 in a limited engagement at La MaMa's Ellen Stewart Theatre, located at 66 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and the Bowery in New York City. Previews begin April 14 for an April 16 opening.

La MaMa, in association with The Assembly, announced today that the world premiere of SEAGULLMACHINE will extend through May 5, 2018. SEAGULLMACHINE is created by The Assembly, conceived by Nick Benacerraf, co-directed by Jess Chayes (Lucille Lortel Award winner) and Nick Benacerraf, and text by Anton Chekhov, Heiner Muller and The Assembly. Previews for the 4-week run begin April 14. Opening night is April 16.

Dixon Place to Present Pinocchio Themed PIN AND THE BLUE FAIRY

PIN* AND THE BLUE FAIRY is a new play in development with OUTLIERS Theatre Co, based on Collodi's classic The Adventures of Pinocchio. The play examines the wooden puppet's journey to become a proper boy through the eyes of a contemporary trans teenager named Blue. As Blue attempts to find their own path, they turn to Pin's tale, and their stories intertwine in a search for understanding, transformation, and personal truth.

The Flea Premieres TAKE CARE, Previews Begin Dec 1

The Flea Theater presents TAKE CARE, by Niegel Smith and Todd Shalom. This world premiere production marks Smith's directorial debut at his new artistic home and will feature The Bats, the resident acting company at the Flea. Previews start December 1 with Opening Night slated for Sunday, December 6.

{Your Name Here} A Queer Theater will present three public performances of their developmental workshop, DON'T DRINK FROM THE RIVER, by MJ Kaufman from May 2, 3, and 4 at 7 PM. Performances will be held at The Tank. The Tank is also a Co-Presenter of the event. Each performance will be followed by a special talkback with guests to be announced.

Daniel joins the cast already featuring Tony Nominated Downtown Performer Justin Vivian Bond, Zachary Booth (Damages, Keep the Lights On), Rob Maitner (Urinetown, NY Fringe Festival; Bistro Award for Fairy Tales at the WPA Theater), Brian Barefoot, Jax Jackson, Grant Chapman & Chris Tyler. The reading will be held at the Players Club (16 Gramercy Park South in Manhattan) at 8:00 PM, with a cocktail reception starting at 7pm. Magic Theatre Extends HIR Through 3/2

Magic Theatre has announced that audiences will have an additional week to experience Taylor Mac's Hir. Originally scheduled to close on February 23, Hir adds 5 more performances and will now close March 2.
