Ars Nova, under the leadership of Artistic Director Jason Eagan, will present the world premiere of the new musical BLOODSONG OF LOVE with book, music & lyrics by multi-award winner Joe Iconis, and directed by John Simpkins. BLOODSONG OF LOVE, which was commissioned and developed by Ars Nova, will begin previews on April 1st prior to an official press opening of April 15th at Ars Nova (511 West 54th Street, between 10th and 11th Avenues) in Manhattan.
Back by popular demand, Sophie Jaff and Gaby Alter reprise their sold-out Duplex cabaret that explores the highs and lows, and further lows, of New York dating and life. The show features such sugar-sweet ditties as 'The Island of Lost Men,' 'I'm So Happy For You,' and 'My Nazi Boyfriend.'
The show is Thursday, March 18th at 9:30 pm at the Duplex, 61 Christopher Street. Admission is $10 plus a two drink minimum. 21 and over only.

Joe Iconis headed into NYC's MSR Studios on February 28 with his band and the cast of his critically-acclaimed concert event Things To Ruin to lay down tracks for the show's forthcoming album. The recording, which will be released by Sh-K-Boom Records in Summer 2010, features a collection of songs by Kleban and Larson-winner Iconis as seen in Things To Ruin at off-Broadway's Second Stage Theatre in May 2009.
