Rumer Willis Joins Cast of FOR THE RECORD: BAZ LUHRMANN, Beg. 8/15

Los Angeles's hit series “For The Record” brings movies to life as never seen before and is celebrating its third anniversary by reinventing one of the audience's favorite shows, “For The Record: Baz Luhrmann.” This new adaptation at Rockwell: Table & Stage will intertwine the tales of the star-crossed lovers from “Romeo + Juliet,” “Strictly Ballroom,” “Moulin Rouge,” and “The Great Gatsby” in a stunning 360-degree live theatrical concert experience. For The Record: Baz Luhrmann begins previews Thursday, August 15 and officially opens Thursday, August 22, 2013.

This summer's most spectacular Hollywood blockbuster, For The Record: Zemeckis, will run for an additional three weeks due to popular demand at Rockwell: Table & Stage. Over the past two years the "For The Record" series has brought the movies to life as never seen before in a stunning 360-degree live theatrical concert experience. For The Record: Zemeckis runs weekly Thursday - Sunday at 8:30PM and will now run through Saturday, August 10. FOR THE RECORD: TARANTINO IN CONCERT Set for House of Blues Sunset Strip, 4/16

The hit "For The Record" series will leave its resident home in Los Feliz for one night only and head to Hollywood to perform "Tarantino In Concert" at famed House of Blues Sunset Strip. This version of the World Theatrical Presentation, performed only once before at the 2012 SXSW festival, will be staged on Tuesday, April 16 @ 8pm. The live concert experience "For The Record: Tarantino In Concert" brings the movies of Quentin Tarantino to life through the soundtracks he meticulously integrated into each of his films. The evening will be bigger, badder and include something no one has seen in any edition of the "Tarantino In Concert" show, the inclusion of his latest hit film, Django Unchained! This latest installment of the "For The Record" series will explore the themes Scorsese typically underlines in his work such as Italian American identity, Roman Catholic concepts of guilt and redemption, machismo, and modern crime, using signature songs and iconic scenes from the movies of the acclaimed director. The space at 1714 N Vermont Ave no longer operates under three distinct names but instead the entire venue will be referred to as Rockwell: Table & Stage and includes a bi-level outdoor dining space as well as a newly remodeled live music performance space. While renovations will continue throughout the summer, "For The Record" co-creators Shane Scheel and Christopher Lloyd Bratten choose to present a show adapted from the works of multiple Academy Award-nominated Los Angeles director Paul Thomas Andersonfor a summer experience that Angelenos will not easily forget. The show has just been extended through August 11, 2012.
