Allan Buchman has announced the line-up for the Directors' Weekend, the dynamic jump-start for Culture Project's IMPACT 2012 Festival, which attempts to tackle issues of human rights, social justice, and political action over 44 days at their old-is-new-again home on Bleecker Street.

New York Theatre Barn (Joe Barros, Artistic Director; Jason Najjoum, Producing Director; Barry Levine, Managing Director) will launch the 6th consecutive year of its acclaimed monthly platform for emerging musical theater writers, NYTB in the D-Lounge, on July 9, 2012 at the D-Lounge of the Daryl Roth Theatre. Featured writing teams will be Charlie Sohne and Tim Rosser, and Adam Spiegel and Dan Wolpow, all alumni of the Tony Award-winning BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop. Featured writers for later months in the 6th season will be announced at a later date.

Tony Award winner Cady Huffman will play the roles of Ms. Pratt, Clarissa and Mrs. Bamberg in Prospect Theater Company's upcoming new production of Cole Porter's NYMPH ERRANT, featuring the original 1933 Porter score and a revised book by Rob Urbinati. Performances begin July 7 at the Clurman Theatre at Theatre Row.

The presentation is made possible in part by the National Alliance for Musical Theater's Writers' Residency Grant.

On February 13, New York Theatre Barn will present NYTB in the D-Lounge, a monthly concert for emerging musical theatre writers, now in its 5th year, at the Daryl Roth Theatre. The February 2012 installment of NYTB in the D-Lounge introduces to New York audiences Illinois-native, singer-songwriter Kevin Fogarty, who will present selections from his full-length musicals, and showcases Jonathan Larson Award-winner J. Oconer Navarro, who will present the world premiere of songs from two new musicals by himself and collaborators. Performers include Charlie Brady, Joaquina Kalukango, Zonya Love, and more. Executive Producers for NYTB in the D-Lounge are Laura Brandel and Jason Najjoum.

Prospect Theater Company will hold a talkback with director Elizabeth Lucas and cast members from the critically-acclaimed production of Adam Guettel's Myths and Hymns following the Thursday, February 23 performance. Among the cast members in attendance will be Bob Stillman, Anika Larsen and Matthew Farcher. In addition, a 5pm performance has been added on Saturday, February 25.
