Yesterday, 106.7 Lite FM presented the return of its much-anticipated, annual lunchtime theatre summer series, '106.7 Lite FM's Broadway in Bryant Park.' The 2013 program will present the best of Broadway, FREE to the public, on six consecutive Thursdays beginning July 11 at 12:30 p.m. on the Bryant Park Stage. Hosted by Lite FM's on-air personalities, the 13thannual presentation of open-air, On- and Off- Broadway lunch hour performances will run through August 15. Today, 106.7 Lite FM announced that Erik Altemus of PIPPIN, Ann Harada of Rodgers and Hammerstein's CINDERELLA, and a slew of other stage stars are set to kick off Broadway in Bryant Park this week. The 2013 program will present the best of Broadway, FREE to the public, on six consecutive Thursdays beginning this Thursday, July 11 at 12:30 p.m. on the Bryant Park Stage. Yesterday STOMP received a "Legend of Off Broadway" Award from The Off Broadway Alliance, the organization of Off Broadway producers, theaters, general managers, press agents and marketing professionals. The award is given for sustained achievement in the world of Off Broadway. Accepting on behalf of the show's creators Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas were original cast member and current New York rehearsal director Fiona Wilkes, and current cast member Jason Mills.

The Off Broadway Alliance, the organization of Off Broadway producers, theaters, general managers, press agents and marketing firms, presented the 3rd annual Off Broadway Alliance Awards last night, June 18th at Sardi's. The awards honor outstanding achievement in Off Broadway theater for the 2012-2013 season. BroadwayWorld was there for the ceremony and you can check out photos below!

The York Theatre Company will present a developmental lab of two short operas, Mardi Gras and The Last Word both composed by Mildred Kayden. Directed by Bill Castellino and with music direction by Christopher McGovern, the 3-member company features Jason Mills, Rebecca Pitcher and Tom Souhrada. Performances are set for today, February 2 at 2:30pm & 8:00pm and February 3 at 2:30pm at The York Theatre Company in Saint Peter's (Entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).
