STOMP Named 'Legend of Off Broadway' at 2013 Off Broadway Alliance Awards

Yesterday STOMP received a "Legend of Off Broadway" Award from The Off Broadway Alliance, the organization of Off Broadway producers, theaters, general managers, press agents and marketing professionals. The award is given for sustained achievement in the world of Off Broadway. Accepting on behalf of the show's creators Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas were original cast member and current New York rehearsal director Fiona Wilkes, and current cast member Jason Mills.

STOMP, the international sensation, plays at New York's Orpheum Theatre in the East Village. STOMP is also currently playing in London's West End, and on North American and European tours.

STOMP has been an overwhelming success marked by rave reviews and numerous honors including an Olivier Award for Best Choreography (London's Tony Award); an Obie Award; a Drama Desk Award for Unique Theatre Experience, and a Special Citation from Best Plays, an Academy Award nomination, four Emmy nominations and one Emmy Award.
