The new season on Broadway will begin with fireworks the day after July 4th when the musical [title of show] begins previews at the Lyceum Theatre (149 W. 45 St) on Saturday, July 5th prior to its official opening night on July 17th. The New York Musical Theatre Festival, in association with Melanie Herman, will present the World Premiere of Mud Donahue & Son, a new musical with book by Jeff Hochhauser, based on Jack Donahue's 'Letters Of A Hoofer To His Ma,' with music by Bob Johnston and lyrics by Johnston & Hochhauser, directed by Tony Award nominated Lynne Taylor-Corbett (Swing!), as part of the 4th Annual NY Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF).
